Today we will discuss about a religious question :
Will faith be weaker in earth, and especially Christian faith, if intelligent alien life forms are discovered ?
We selected this theme because we are both nerds and we are interested in space. Moreover, christian faith is far weaker than before, today, and it would be interesting to think about a disastrous threat for that religion, like the discovery of an intelligent alien life form.
Yann will present you the video then we will both ask you some questions
then I will present you the article, and we will both give you a summary and the main ideas.
Finally, we will do a debate around 2 or 3 questions if we have the time.

2. Will your religion be affected ?
3. Will others religions be threaten ?
Every religious groups find arguments to preserve their faith.

Finally, Roman Catholics shows that there is no
conflict between believing in God and in the possibility
of extraterrestrial life, by giving some arguments :
Jesus was the representant for humans, and god is not
only the god of Earth.
They are okay with the fact that god can create other civlisations.
